Bayahibe Dominican Republic

Bayahíbe is a town in the Dominican Republic, situated about 10 miles (16 km) east of La Romana on the coast of the Caribbean Sea. The village is small with restaurants, numerous excursion agencies, diving centres, two or three bars, a small supermarket, a billiard room, a colmado (grocery store) where, in the late afternoon, locals and foreigners alike gather around a truly fresh President.
